New England Biolabs About Us! One of the founding principles of NEB is a commitment to promoting sound ecological practices and environmental sustainability. We are constantly looking for new ways to improve our business processes in order to minimize the impact that we have on our environment. We also strive to raise awareness of the need to care for our planet. NEB’s modern 140,000 square foot research and production facility is LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). This is a distinction given based on a suite of environmentally focused standards that include site sustainability, water efficiency, energy conservation and atmospheric protection, choice of building materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, innovation and building design. |
